Accessibility in India

“It is our endeavour to ensure that every individual in the country is empowered, an inclusive society is created, spirit of equality and cooperation enhances harmony in the society and everybody progresses together as one” – Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Accessibility isn’t just a policy it’s a shared responsibility. Whether it’s inclusive design in physical spaces, accessible digital platforms, or seamless mobility, real change happens when communities, businesses, and institutions move together. Yes to Access helps connect these efforts using technology and awareness to drive action, in line with the goals of the Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan.

What is Yes to Access?

Yes to Access is a community-powered initiative, working to make accessibility a reality in India. We combine data and dialogue to improve access across built spaces, digital platforms, and everyday mobility. This project is supported by the Ford Foundation.
